Yes It can lead to: Chipping of the incisal edges and other subsequent dental issues you haven't even begun to conceive. Best option is to be seen by your orthodontist for treatment options. Don't look for quick and cheap fixes - you get what you pay for. Most of the time: If your anterior teeth hit edge to edge when you close together the edges will wear faster than teeth with a normal bite. You may want to see if orthodontics can help change the way your teeth meet. Many people spend a good deal of time grinding their teeth while asleep due to emotional stress . Ask your dentist if ortho is a good option, or ask about a mouth guard to wear while sleeping.
