A 23-year-old female asked:
Is it true you should brush a little bit of your gums when brushing your teeth in circular motions to prevent gum recession?

See: See your Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist to review the best brushing method for you. What works for the next person may need to be modified for you. In general you should be gently brushing 2 full minutes 2x/day with a soft toothbrush and a pea sized portion of fluoridated toothpaste, the entire tooth structure including the tooth/gum junction. Daily flossing is mandatory. See your Dentist.
