A member asked:

Does anybody know how many carbs, calories and sugar a body needs for a healthy nutrition plan?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on size: And activity. No more than 100gm of carbohydrates (including sugar) is needed. One needs about one gm protein/kg of body weight. Fats need not make up more than one third of the total calories. Total caloric intake depends on the size and activity of the person. The best guide for caloric intake is the person's weight/bmi. You may wish to consult a nutritionist.
