Watch for sugar/fats: While granola has a reputation as a health food, most types are loaded with sugar and fat! look for granolas with the least sugar you can find- no more than 10 grams per 1/4 cup. Ideally less than 100 calories & at least 3 gr. Of fiber per 1/4 cup is best. Avoid those with high fructose corn syrup or agave nectar! try making your own: http://foodtrainers.Blogspot.Com/2011/02/oh-no-no-granola.Html.
