Pediatric endo: There are physicians who start their specialty training in a pediatric residency and take further training in the endocrine issues of childhood and adolescence. These pediatric endocrinologists are usually affiliated with large children's hospitals or medical schools. Most of the endo people locally only see adults and manage their diabetes and thyroid problems.
