Missed Period Rx: Missing periods is usually due to not ovulating. A common cause is pco/pcos which is a syndrome of unbalanced repro hormones, including infrequent ovulation, polycystic ovaries and increased androgens ("male hormones"). If you do not want pregnancy then bcp or Progesterone works. If you want to get pg, then we stim ovulation with clomid/metformin. For more info talk with doc.

Evaluate 1st: Endocrine disorders from thyroid disease, to hyperandrogenism, to pcos and even brain tumors can cause this, therefore you need to be evaluated to determine the cause of your oligomenorrhea. Disorders are treated differently. If you have pcos, then weight loss, progestins, Clomiphene and the birth control pill are all options.

See your doctor: You should really see your doctor for this. You need a medical evaluation to determine the cause of your missed periods. Without knowing the cause it isn't possible to know if you require any treatment.
