Is okay to skip placebo pills in birthcontrol? if i don't take them can i start the next pack of pills or do i need to skip a week to get a period?

Probably OK: Many women do have an extended cycle with the pill by doing just what you suggest. It is safe to skip the placebo pills and just not have the period. It is probably a good idea to have a period every three or four months when doing the extended cycle.
