Need to get on track: You can try to get into a better habit of remembering to take the pills, and then after a month or so, you can expect your periods to normalize again. Or you could stop the pills, and see if your periods go back to normal (but you need another method of birth control). Iuds, the Nexplanon or Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shots provide excellent birth control without requiring daily administration. So do nuvaring.
