Generally safe: Only people with certain health conditions need to be careful. If you have kidney problems you need to watch protein intake. A diabetic on medications will need to watch for blood sugar changes. Anyone with chronic health problems should consult with a doctor or nutritionist to make sure that diet changes are made safely.

Agree w Dr. Ross: Watch protein intake. Some people may find it a major lifestyle change when living in an industrialized society that thrives on junk food, processed food and cultivated crops.
