Vegetarian: Possibly, but you don't want to lose muscle at all. Muscle is more metabolically active than fat, and allows you to move. To lose fat, you need to focus on healthy veggies, fruits, and proteins like beans, lentils, whole grains like quinoa, soy, etc. Healthy fats too.
