Multiple muscles: A weight training program for women does not necessarily have to be significantly different than that for men. I favor exercises that work multiple muscle groups rather than isolated muscles - for example, push-ups, rows, lat pull-downs, and exercises using a cable system. In general, these types of workouts will give you more functional benefits.
