No: The sugar in the cake and icing is what your body will use for energy. If you deprive your diet of these simple sugars and other carbohydrates, then it is forced to draw upon your own fat stores for energy rather than leaving your stored fat energy where it is. This idea does not work, sorry. (and don't forget about the daily exercise part! try to break a sweat each day with physical activity).

Not yet but...: Hmmm. I have not heard that but feel i might have to try it in the name of science :) however, i will be certain to have only organic chocolate cake. But seriously, if one had a moderate portion of chocolate cake for breakfast and nothing else all day long they might lose weight! but i would not recommend this method...
