I had an ultrasound yesterday due to severe pain in my right pelvic area my charts says they found a 5.4cm cyst also fluid surrounding my iud in the endometrial canal but i'm not sure what that means is this bad ?

I assume the 5.4 cm cyst is in the ovary which has no relationship with the IUD and surrounding fluid in the uterus. If that is the case then your pain can be due to the enlarging ovarian cyst which is usually self-limited (most often resolve or go away by itself) and the finding of inside the uterus is not uncommon when you have an IUD. No, those findings are not serious at all. Take care.

Hello, I am 28 years old. I recently had a Pelvic, Transva ultrasound. My Endometrial stripe was 2.1CM (21 mm), ovaries unremarkable, with some fluid in the cul de sac. There was atleast 2 2.1 mm cysts shown. Uterus otherwise ok. Shoud i be concerned?
Pelvic pain & spotting since IUD placed 8/18. US: bilat follicular cysts (1.4 and 1.8cm) & IUD is low- in endocerv. canal, internal os & distal endomet stripe. LMP 8/11. Pain from IUD, cysts, or both?
