Hysterosonography: this is a very good method for evaluating the endometrial lining. A fairly simple test where the radiologist inserts a small catheter into the cervix of the uterus . The sonographer inserts the ultrasound probe and saline infused to visualize the lining. MRI is also a very elegant method of evaluating the uterus.
