I take losartan hctz 100mg daily and metoprolol er 100mg daily. how would i know if i should add a diuretic to the metoprolol er..at times my blood pressure can be around 150/80?

BP is not always uniform. Discuss this with your doc. maybe you require a BP monitor. In any case a decision to add a medicine is best left to the treating doc. Ask her/him to explain the rationale for treatment. wishing you good health
