Had a ct scan .. year and a half ago and liver was ok .. had a recent ct done and it shows enlarged liver 18.5 ..i believe the cause is from my alcohol abuse .. if i stop now will my liver go back to normal size and how long will it take .. i am 73?

For alcoholic hepatitis, alcohol cessation is a must and reversibility is possible if fibrosis or cirrhosis has not occurred and you are not a chronic alcoholic.
