Had a ct scan .. year and a half ago and liver was ok .. had a recent ct done and it shows enlarged liver 18.5 ..i believe the cause is from my alcohol abuse .. if i stop now will my liver go back to normal size and how long will it take .. i am 73?

Medical history is important for answering your question. What is the indication for CT scan in 2021 and this year? For alcoholic hepatitis, alcohol cessation is a must and reversibility is possible if fibrosis or cirrhosis has not occurred and you are not a chronic alcoholic. Prediction of full recovery is difficult with limited medical history. Good luck with your decision.
