7 days post covid infection, with loss of taste/smell by day 2. does this indicate anything about my infection? when will it return?

The return of smell is variable and may take weeks. If you are not fully recovered in one month, please follow up with your physician. A COVID 19 vaccination is still recommended. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, fever and prolonged cough. Rest and stay well hydrated.
