I visited my brother. his dogs live in the house and he also smokes in his house.when i returned,i had a sinus infection.i treated the infection and is ok now. now i cannot smell or taste anything.do you suspect covid? otherwise i am feeling fine?

Possibly: Lost of taste and smell is one of the symptoms of COVID, however pos not diagnostic. Other symptoms are fever, cough, shortness of breadth, abdominal pain with diarrhea. I would see your PCP to be throughly evaluated. In the mean time quarantine yourself till you are sure you don’t have the virus

Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.
