I visited my brother. his dogs live in the house and he also smokes in his house.when i returned,i had a sinus infection.i treated the infection and is ok now. now i cannot smell or taste anything.do you suspect covid? otherwise i am feeling fine?

Possibly: Lost of taste and smell is one of the symptoms of COVID, however pos not diagnostic. Other symptoms are fever, cough, shortness of breadth, abdominal pain with diarrhea. I would see your PCP to be throughly evaluated. In the mean time quarantine yourself till you are sure you don’t have the virus

COVID 19 concerns: Loss of sense of taste/ smell can occur from multiple causes. COVID 19 is one of those. Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.
