Had covid february 2021. only lost taste and smell. now have covid again. far worse. sore throat, body pain, dizzy, weak, etc. why is second infection worse? what can i do to lessen symptoms?

The intensity of any covid infection depends on how that strain interacts with your body. You would not be infected by the same strain your body developed enough reaction to fend off. The new variant would have enough changed your system had to start over to overcome. Which tissues it invaded would vary with the specific strain & how your body reacts to it.
