Im 510, 253 pounds. recently started walking on treadmill every day for about 30 minutes. burn about 170 calories. also starting to balance my diet more. is this enough to see even a slight difference weight over time? i also have limited mobility?

You will lose weight if you burn more calories than you take in. So, as long as you ingest 170 calories less, you will lose weight over time. If you eat 170 calories more than you usually do, you won’t lose any weight. It is a definite balance-if you burn more calories than you take in, weight loss occurs. Good luck to you! Do yourself a favor & have one meeting with a dietician or nutritionist. You will be told what your ideal weight goal is, how many daily calories you should ingest depending upon your level of daily physical activity, your eating habits will be critiqued& sample diets given. Bear in mind that you have to eliminate 500 calories per day for a week to lose one pound.,
