6 mph is very fast.: 6 mph is very fast walking.... It is 1 mile every 10 min. Most people can only walk 3 mph. So that being said. If you are doing 6 mph you are doing good exercise and will notice a weight loss in the first 2-3 weeks. 1000 cal diet is a very low cal diet for someone running that much. You should see a nutritionist to make sure u get all your nutrients, .
