What does the foci mean on my CT - 2 separate foci of pleural thickening along the dependent portion of the right lower lobe. Does it mean its a nodule or mass? Im worried?
What does this mean chest ct scan ..mild infiltrates,left lower lobe may represent discoid atelectasis and or pneumonia ,mild left pleural effusion..
CT-No masses, nodules, effusion or infiltrate. Evaluation of the lungs reveals mild nonspecific dependent changes posteriorly in the lower lobes with mild interlobular changes not excluded. What does that indicate? Does that mean pleural thickening?
45 yo F. Could having pneumonia once when I was a child (8/9 yo) have caused 2 separate foci of pleural thickening right lower lobe seen on CT I just had done in Feb? I also had mild Covid this past Nov. PCP is not concerned at this time?
Seen in current CT of chest, previous CT in Sept 2022 these were not seen: Pleural based oval shaped nodular density 8.6 mm in right lower lobe. An 8 pleural based nodular density posteriorly in left lower lobe 4.4 mm. Is this concerning?
