These findings: in isolation are not by themselves worrisome. But it depends on the entire picture, such as the reason why his doctor ordered this study. And also comparison study. The significance of these findings would depend entirely upon his underlying disease and what his previous scans showed.

CT-No masses, nodules, effusion or infiltrate. Evaluation of the lungs reveals mild nonspecific dependent changes posteriorly in the lower lobes with mild interlobular changes not excluded. What does that indicate? Does that mean pleural thickening?
