Foci means areas or spots where this is noted. As far as pleural thickening that needs to be a if I waited and discussed with the physician who ordered the CT scan. This will give you the context and interpretation.

CT-No masses, nodules, effusion or infiltrate. Evaluation of the lungs reveals mild nonspecific dependent changes posteriorly in the lower lobes with mild interlobular changes not excluded. What does that indicate? Does that mean pleural thickening?
