Hi i am 43 and my ferritin is 14 ug/l, haemoglobin is 128g/l.hematicrit is 0.38 i/i. creatinine,thyroid are normal.cholestrol is 5.55 mmol/l and triglycerides are 2.06 mmol/l.nonhdl cholestrol is 4.42.doctor gave feramax.anything concerning?pls reply?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your lipids are mildly elevated and ferritin is at the lower end of normal. You may wish to discuss diet and exercise with your doctor to address lipids. Feramax is okay.

What does it mean when your ferritin is 944 (high), Iron sat 9 (low), iron 27 (borderline low), TIBC 316 (normal); hemoglobin/hematocrit 9.7/29.2 (low), RBC 3.17 (low), platelets 534 (high)? My haptoglobin was also high, retic count high but ldh low?
