A member asked:

Good evening doctors. i have 2 silly questions. i had a renal mesenteric ultrasound. the sonographer reported that there were no masses and no blockages. does that mean that, at least for now, i do not have kidney stones? what does mesenteric mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

'Mesenteric' does not go with 'renal'. Mesentery is tissue by which the intestines are attached to the back wall of the abdomen and has blood vessels in it. The report would have indicated if you had kidney stones. So you're good to go!
