Very good evening doctors. i am having a renal kidney ultrasound. in addition, my doctor wants to do urinalysis and culture and bloodwork. what blood tests are used and associated with renal kidney ultrasound?

Renal/Kidney Ultrasound is a very safe procedure but we need to know why this test is being done? Other tests such as the blood and urine test are not related to the ultrasound test but likely ordered due to your symptoms of ? kidney infection or ? bleeding in the urine.

I would do BUN Creatinine, calcium and Na And K and Uric acid as a start.
