All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, no malignancy nor dysplasia is reported. Wish you good health!

Pathology report appears consistent with ulcerative colitis, an inflammatory bowel disease, further management will be discussed with your gastroenterologist at follow up.

Colonoscopy showed an area of mild congested mucosa in recto-sigmoid colon. Does it sound like ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease?
Colonoscopy showed congested, erythematous, eroded and vascular-pattern-decreased mucosa in recto-sigmoid colon and sigmoid colon. IBD? Ulcerative Colitis ? What would the treatment plan be ?
On my colon biopsy it shows benign colonic mucosa with moderately increased chronic inflammation in the lamina propria with an increase in lymphoid aggregates. The report also says no evidence of IBD or microscopic colitis. Is this a normal finding?
My colonoscopy says normal mucosa was noted through the whole colon random biopsies were taken throughout colon for microscopic colitis? Is she looking for cancer or just the colitis?
