What could cause a narrowing in descending colon other than colitis or hirschsprungs? already had bowel resection not recovering well. pathology came back,serositis/serosal adhesions,mildly hyperplastic colonic mucosa,reactive pericolonic lymph nodes

Inflammatory bowel: From your description, this pretty clearly is inflammatory bowel disease, most likely Crohn's disease or perhaps ulcerative colitis.
