I have a long bracket on one of the sides of my teeth, and its been poking me for about a week now. ive tried wax but it doesnt stick, so ive just left it as it is. it made a hole and its like yellow clearish? is it infected, or is it fine?

First, call Orthodontist. Then take 1 200mg Ibuprofen/Advil?motrin every 4 hrs w lots of food or liquids, dab Orabase-B (ask your Pharmacist) onto sore spots w Q-tip, rinse 3x/day w 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water. Wax: Soften pea-sized portion by rolling between finger tips, dry the irritating attachment w Kleenex, press wax onto dry attachment and gentlytuck in top & bottom.
