Possible acid reflux, or bacterial infections in throat, tongue, teeth or sinus. Since teeth were infected, area may still have infected tissue present. Make sure you are still taking your prescribed antibiotics and following post operative instructions. See your surgical doctor for post exam and possible treatment.

Yellow saliva is probably the blood clot being washed out into saliva. Swab the extraction site with q-tip and salt water daily. The q-tip will turn up slightly yellow also as the clot is swabbed.
