Takes a while : The lymph node probably swelled up in response to the dental infection. It can take 1-2 months for the node to shrink down.

Nothing serious: Swollen lymph nodes under the jaw or in the neck can certainly be normal in many cases for a 3-4 weeks after having dental surgery or infected tooth extraction. It wouldn't be bad idea to ask your dentist, but it's probably just your body's response to the surgery. Good luck.
