I've relapsed into bulimia. i'm 7 months post partum and due to have a colonoscopy later in the next month. i've relapsed in the last two weeks and last saw the gi doctor in september. is it still safe for me to go under anesthesia?

Bulimia causes electrolyte disturbances that can be problematic to heart function and may interfere with anaesthesia. Talk to your GP and/or GI Dr's about blood tests to measure your electrolyte levels. Without these, they should not put you under anesthesia.
