Im low in vitamin d by 23 on lab results. i decided to buy vitamin d3 gummies, 20000 iu. it says to take 2 daily, should i take 2 or 1 daily? i dont wanna overload also. i also have pkd- which could play in the deficiency?

Are you sure you mean 20000 units and not 2000 units?. We don't usually exceed 50,000 units per week in treating Vit.D deficiency. Are your BUN,creatinine&GFR ok? Don' t let your vit D level get too high. Do you have a history of kidney stones? Family history of PKD? Your nephrologist, & I hope you see one, can advise you best.

Any supplements you take must be under the care and guidance of a doc. Pl ask your doc. PKD should not affect vit D
