Are you sure you mean 20000 units and not 2000 units?. We don't usually exceed 50,000 units per week in treating Vit.D deficiency. Are your BUN,creatinine&GFR ok? Don' t let your vit D level get too high. Do you have a history of kidney stones? Family history of PKD? Your nephrologist, & I hope you see one, can advise you best.

Any supplements you take must be under the care and guidance of a doc. Pl ask your doc. PKD should not affect vit D
