Uti ua showed blood at level 3+. after 2 days on ciprofloxacn, blood level was 1+. now on day 5 and home ua test strip shows moderate blood. i have 2 1/2 days left on cipro. culture was neg but had been on nitrofurantoin. should i be concerned?

Microscopic hematuria is present in acute cystitis so there is no thing to concern. You should finish the cipro course. You can check your urine again in 4 weeks. If the dip stick is still (+) for blood at that time, you need a formal urinalysis test to confirm or rule out microscopic hematuria.

Was a urine culture done? If urine test not neg for blood after the course of antibiotic pl see a Urologist to find treat cause . Good luck and pl drink a lot of water.
