Hi, recently i felt like i had uti but i didn't check it and now my dad sees blood in his urine is it possible that we have the same issue and passed that to each other? i'am so scared he may have something serious and he refuses to check it! please?

Your dad needs to be evaluated by a urologist. Most urinary tract infections don't often cause gross hematuria (visualized blood in the urine) and they are not transmitted between family members. Only does hereditary cystic kidney disease can cause gross hematuria in both son and father but that bleeding is not a UTI.

Your issues are unrelated. Your dad should see a Urologist ASAP. Explain to him that passing blood in urine is grossly abnormal and needs to be investigated. It could be trivial or serious. Either way the earlier discovered the better
