My mom had a breast needle biopsy. they called to tell say the cyst is very small but needs to be removed. im so worried. she has an appointment with a breast surgeon but considering cyst is very small could that lessen cancer spread or outcome?

They did not say it is cancer so there is no worry of any cancer spread as there is none. also best to ask surgeon why it needs removal
