No biopsy needed yet: Breast cysts are common and do not require any intervention unless they are growing in size. So your doctor's advice is good...Recheck in 6 months. If no change in size continue your yearly screening mammograms along with a clinical breast examination(cbe) done by your pcp.

Generally: there is no need to biopsy simple cysts. The malignant potential is essentially zero.
