Have abscess in colon and rectum. doc doesn't seem to be concerned when i ask about it. it's been a month since biopsy revealed that. what happens when abscess is left untreated? how long can you have an abscess before it becomes a serious problem?

Those are tiny abscesses seen under microscopic exam with colon biopsy. You seem to be in the low risk category. If symptoms worsen you will be treated, please follow with your GI doctor.
