I have experienced urinary retention du to local anesthesia at the dentist. how can i know what is the molecule in the local anesthesia that caused me that ? 5.1 ml of lidocaine 2% epinephrine 1:100,000 were administered at the first surgery iam24?

None of my patients ever complained of urinary retention after this type of local injection. How do you know this injection caused this reaction? See an urologist for a exam. Is this the first time this ever happened?

I do not think your urinary retention was caused by the local anesthesia you had. It was caused by something else and co-incidental
