I am a 29-year-old female hospitalized in april of this year for syncope, occurring at the beginning of my menstrual cycle. the doctors performed an ecg, indicating a possible left axis deviation. is this something to worry about or nothing?

Possible left axis deviation (LAD) could be caused by the wrong lead position so repeat 12 lead EKG with correct lead position should be done to confirm. If LAD is confirmed & there is nothing wrong with your heart exam, this finding does not have much clinical significance. If there is other sign of heart problem by exam, e.g. heart murmur, besides syncope, you should have an echocardiogram done.
