A member asked:

Can someone explain what do doctors mean with ecg axis? how do you see normal or abnormal axis on ecg? thx

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ECG: The axis refers to the frontal plane direction of the net forces represented in the p wave, the QRS and the T. Each of these has its own axis and normal range for each. Zero degrees is toward the left, -90 is toward the head and +90 toward the feet. There care various possibilities for abnormal axis.
