I had umbilical hernia repair done 10 years ago no issues with pain be today.im having severe pain there,moving around its horrible,it's fevered.if it's not strangulated does that mean it's not an emergency because i can't stand much more of this?

Your current symptoms are likely not the consequence of umbilical hernia repair 10 years ago. You should be examined ASAP, either ER or urgent care because an acute abdomen can't be ruled out.
