My hida scan came back abnormal. i dont have a ton of pain or issues from gallbladder like normally would. can the motility of the gallbladder be improved? or can the scan produce false positives?

Unless you didn't fast properly for the test a positive result usually means an inflamed gall bladder, gall stones or a bile duct blockage.. The commonest reason for ordering a hida scan is for the diagnosis of acute inflammation of the gall bladder.You may get the advice of an abdominal surgeon. I tend to think you have gall bladder inflammation.

No it can not be improved, There are false postives of the test. Best is to have it repeated in a few months if you have no symptoms.
