Protein measured based on a 24 hours urine collection was elevated, and the concentration was determined by the absolute protein level divided by the volume or L. It is difficult to understand from your note the term 'normal per day'. Is the 24 hour collection normal? A microscopic urinalysis is recommended and renal lab testing may be performed. Monitor BP and check electrolytes as indicated

Your question is slightly confusing. Best is to see a pediatric nephrologist or a nephrologist and repeat the 24 hour urine study accurately. And ask her/ him all the questions you have from the info she/he gets from the test. Good luck
