Dr. Jay Park answered

Protein can be found in the urine of healthy children, with an upper limit being 150mg/24 hours. 8-y-o boys urine excretion in his urine was 98mg/24 hours, apparently in normal range. 197mg/L was a concentration of protein in random urine of which you should not be concerned.
