I have asthma and am taking flovent 44mcg 2 puffs twice a day. also taking prescription flonase 50mcg 2 sprays in each nostril daily..am i at higher risk for serious complications if i got covid19 due to these medications...thank you?

The medications do not predispose to COVID 19 infection. Asthmatics are generally not at increased risk for hospitalization. Your allergic rhinitis is under treatment, and a comprehensive allergy plan includes avoidance of potential triggers such as dust mites. Testing is available and may be ordered by Healthtap or your PCP as indicated. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, wheezing and cough.

The fact that you suffer from asthma puts you in a more likely group to have a more complicated Covid. Make sure you are completely vaccinated , weara mask and stay away from crowds Good Luck
