Usually same: I am assuming that you are using a topical steroid spray. As far as i know, most of these topical sprays has similar efficacy (good effects) and similar safety. If fluticasone (flonase) is not effective have your doctor try another one. There are several of these available and you-might find one that is more tolerable. A clear daily nasal drainage suggests nasal allergy. Consult an allergist.

Technique: Please tell us why you couldn't tolerate flonase? Most of adverse reactions are from improper spray technique which should be aiming towards the side and not the center of the nose. If you get nosebleeds from all inhaled steroid despite correct technique, try an antihistamine spray. If this too failed, some people may respond to a leukotriene blocker. See an allergist if problem persists.
