My sodium levels are consistently in the lower 130s. last time, 132. doctors say my heart and kidneys are fine, though my cl is 94, bun is 7, and creatinine is 0.5. everything else is within normal range. what could be causing my low na levels?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, this is your normal. Normal ranges are central 95% of the values in healthy people. So 5% of the healthy people will have readings outside the "normal range" Wish you good health!

It is not 'low' otherwise your MD would have treated you. Eat a normal diet and dont worry about a few points. You will be fine
