Can mri interrupt ovulation? got an mri (to check for pituitary adenoma) on cd 11. no adenoma found. been testing for lh spike. line was darker on cd 12, but never got dark enough to indicate spike. lighter today, at cd 15 which is unusual for me?

I would suspect stress due to MRI and its anticipated result may disrupt the hormone cycle and ovulation rather than the MRI by itself.

Standard MRI's using 1.5 - 3.0 Tesla magnet strength might transiently raise bodily temperature, but have NO effect on endocrine or hormonal function. There is NO MRI effect on ovulation or pituitary functions.
